This petition has been filed with the following prayers: "It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:- a) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction quashing the impugned Service Order No. 244 of 2025 dated 28.05.2025 and the consequential movement order dated 10.12.2025 issued by the respondents insofar as they relate to the petitioner, as well as the impugned order dated 20.01.2026 whereby the petitioner's representation seeking retention in any Delhi-based unit till 31.03.2027 was rejected.

(b) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue at his present place of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. posting, or in the alternative, to post him at any Delhi-based CISF unit in accordance with the applicable policy guidelines.

Or in the alternative c) Direct the CISF department to grant full House Rent Allowance (HRA) to the petitioner for keeping his family in rented accommodation in Delhi, in case the respondents are unwilling to allow the petitioner to continue in Delhi- based units till 31.03.2027 due to the completion of his son's CBSE education.

(d) Direct the respondents to strictly adhere to their transfer policy, including the requirement that all transfers due for the year must be issued by 15th February;

(e) Grant any other relief deemed just and proper in the interest of justice; and (f) Award costs of the petition to the petitioner." 4.

The only submission made by Mr. P. Sureshan, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner be allowed to continue at the present posting till 31.03.2026.

We have been informed by the counsel for the respondents that the joining of the petitioner at the place of posting has been deferred till 31.03.2026.
