The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that a FIR No.0199/2019 under Sections 379/34 IPC, registered with PS IP Estate, New Delhi be quashed.

The said FIR was lodged at the instance of respondent no.2. The instant petition is premised on the settlement (Memorandum of Understanding dated 23.10.2019) arrived at between the concerned parties (petitioner and respondent no.2).

The copy of the Memorandum of Understanding dated 23.10.2019 entered into between the aforesaid parties

has also been placed on record.

The petitioner is present in the Court and is identified by his counsel. Respondent no.2 is also present in the Court and is identified by the IO. Both the parties (petitioner and respondent no.2) state that they have resolved their disputes and differences. Respondent no.2 states that she does not wish to pursue any proceeding or complaint against the petitioner and joins the petitioner in requesting that the FIR in question be quashed. 5.

In view of the statements made by the petitioner and respondent no.2, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. Accordingly, the FIR No.0199/2019 under Sections 379/34 IPC, registered with PS IP Estate, New Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. 6.
