% 28.01.2025 After making brief submissions in the matter, Mr. Amish Ram Dabas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present revision petition, undertaking that the petitioner would pay the fine amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- awarded vide sentencing order dated 20.04.2022 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, as upheld vide judgement dated 06.12.2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi. 2.
Mr. Dabas submits, that the petitioner had already deposited a sum of Rs.80,000/-, being 20% of the fine awarded, before the learned Magistrate at the stage of filing the appeal. 3.
In view of the above, the present revision petition is disposed-of; with direction to the petitioner to pay the sum of Rs. 3,20,000/- to the CRL.REV.P.(NI) 23/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. respondent within 02 weeks; with a further direction to the learned Magistrate to release the sum of Rs. 80,000/- (alongwith upto date interest, if any) lying deposited within 01 week of an application being made to that effect.

Upon perusal of the record, it is noticed that the cheque in question was issued on 09.02.2010 and the respondent has been deprived of the sum comprised therein for the last about 15 years. 5.
In view of the above, the petitioner is further directed to pay costs of Rs. 10,000/- to the respondent within 02 weeks. 6.
The petition is accordingly disposed-of in the above terms. 7.
Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of.
