W.P.(CRL) 284/2025 1.

This is a petition seeking direction to respondent No. 2 (SDM) to dispose of the DD entry No. 36A dated 24.08.2013 at PS Jama Masjid under Section 145 Cr.P.C. titled as "State vs. Mohd. Abid". 2.

It is stated by Mr. Vashisht, learned counsel for the petitioner that in the present case, the proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C. are pending for the last 12 years which is causing grave prejudice to the petitioner. 3.

He further states that the petitioner is in a settled possession and the proceedings have been initiated to arm twist the petitioner. 4.

For the order I propose to pass, I do not deem it necessary to issue notice to respondent No. 3.

It is directed that respondent No. 2 shall hear the parties and dispose of DD entry No. 36A dated 24.08.2013 at PS Jama Masjid under Section 145 Cr.P.C. titled as "State vs. Mohd. Abid" expeditiously and in any case not later than 12 weeks from today.

It is clarified that all legal rights of the parties are left open. 8.
