The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS seeking a writ of habeas corpus for production of the grandmother of the Petitioner. 3.

The case of the Petitioner is that his grandmother had gone missing sometime in March 2019 and a complaint was filed at P.S. Kishan Garh on 17th March, 2019. However, thereafter, she was traced to the Petitioner's aunt's (bua's) house situated in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, pursuant to which the Petitioner's uncle had withdrawn the complaints which were filed before the Police.

The Petitioner lives in Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida. The last known location of the Petitioner's grandmother was Bharatpur, Rajasthan. 5.
