The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking parole for a further period of twenty-eight days.

2.

The petitioner was convicted under Sections 302/304B/498A/34 of the IPC and sentenced to serve rigorous imprisonment for life and a fine of ₹45,000/-. It is seen that the petitioner has been on furlough for a period of ten weeks during the last eleven months.

Ms Rao, learned ASC, states that the petitioner has applied for parole and his application would be decided within a period of one week from today.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.

The petition is dismissed.
