% 06.02.2018 Respondent No.2 Pushalata is present in court and has been identified by SI Manoj of Police Station Shalimar Bagh Respondent No. 2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner No.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Mediation Centre, North West District, Rohini Courts on 22.07.2016. Her marriage with petitioner No.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce dated 12.04.2017 passed by Family Court, Rohini.

Petitioner no.1 has handed over `1,10,000/- by way of demand draft towards balance settlement amount. Respondent no.2 says that with this payments,entire settled amount of `5,10,000/- stands received and she further says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner No.1 and his relatives being petitioner

Nos. 2-7.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner No.1 and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.384/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Shalimar Bagh and the consequent proceedings emanating threfrom are is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
