The instant petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking the following reliefs: "(a) Issue a Writ, Order or direction(s) in the nature of Mandamus to the Respondent no. I to 3 to ensure and provide the necessary and adequate protections and safety to the life and liberty of the Petitioner, her husband and their minor child;

(b) Issue a Writ, Order or direction(s) in the nature of Mandamus to the Respondent No. I to 3 to take immediate action on the complaint dated 17.12.2024;

(c) Issue a Writ, Order or direction(s) in the nature of Mandamus to the Respondent No. I to 3 to respond promptly in the event of any threat perception by the petitioner from the Respondent no. 4 to 6 or their associates.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the respondent nos. 3 to 5, on multiple occasions, have attempted to intimidate and threaten the petitioner and that the same was done with the intent of causing harassment to the petitioner and evicting her from her maternal house.

In view of the above submission, it is prayed that the SHO concerned may be directed to instruct the Beat Constable to take appropriate steps on receiving any complaint from the petitioner regarding any threat to her security.

In light of the facts and circumstances of the present case, the instant petition along with pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of with the direction that the SHO concerned shall provide the personal contact number of the Beat Constable to the petitioner, and the said Beat Constable, upon receiving any complaint from the petitioner concerning a threat to her security, shall take the appropriate steps to ensure her security.
