The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents no.1 to 3 to inspect flat No.8B, Block PD, Pitampura, Delhi, in order to determine whether there is any unauthorised construction and accordingly, take action against the unauthorised construction/ encroachment.

The petitioner has made a complaint to the respondent-MCD on 27th November, and has also filed photographs to show the encroachment/unauthorised construction by respondent no.4. 3.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent-MCD wherein it is stated that respondent no.4, owner/occupier of the subject property, has W.P.(C) 1324/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. raised unauthorized construction in the shape of deviation/excess coverage. It is further stated that after following due process of law, a demolition order has been passed on behalf of the respondent-MCD and on 29th April, 2026, demolition action has been taken in terms of which the extended balcony and connected walls have been demolished and the iron guards and RCC bars have been cut.

3.1 Photographs of the demolition action taken have been filed along with the status report.

In view of the aforesaid action taken by MCD the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed.
