The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning the order dated 07.10.2019 rejecting the petitioner's application for parole. The petitioner's sister had filed an application dated 26.08.2019 seeking parole for the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner's mother was to undergo surgery.

The status report has been filed along with the nominal roll. The nominal roll indicates that the petitioner was already granted parole in this year from 04.01.2019 to 30.03.2019. This Court is informed that the said parole was also granted pursuant to the order of this Court, on account of medical condition of the petitioner's mother. 3.

The status report indicates that the petitioner has three other sisters, who stay in Delhi. It has also been verified that the petitioner has a brother, who takes care of his mother. It is seen that the petitioner has already been

granted parole for a period of almost three months this year and in view of the status report, which indicates that the petitioner has other family members to look after the mother, this Court does not find any infirmity with the decision of the competent authority rejecting the petitioner's application for parole.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.

It is clarified that this will not preclude the petitioner from applying for parole afresh in the next year.
