O R D E R

The appellant has filed the present appeal for reduction of the awarded amount. The matter has been amicably settled between the parties in pre-sitting Lok Adalat held on 06.09.2018 in the following terms: - "After discussions, it is agreed between the parties that out of the awarded amount, lump sum amount of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lacs only) shall go to respondents claimant who are mother and father of the deceased and the balance amount lying deposited with the tribunal shall go to the appellant/Insurer. Statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- shall go to the Insurer. Counsel for the respondent/claimant submits that 50% of the settlement amount be released to the respondents equally."

In view of the settlement between the parties, a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- shall be payable to the respondents No.1 and 2. The balance amount with entire accrued interest shall be refunded to the appellant. Both

respondents No.1 and 2 shall be entitled to share the amount equally. 75% of the amount of each respondents No.1 and 2 shall be kept in FDRs for a period of five years.

Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of.

Copy of the order be given dasti under the signature of the Court Master.
