The petitioner has filed the present petition inter alia praying that the proceedings for contempt under Contempt of Court Act, 1971, be initiated for wilful disobedience of the order dated 07.01.2025 passed in WP(C) 9928/2021 captioned Kuldeep Singh Sahani and Ors. v. Govt. Of NCT of Delhi and Ors. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in terms of the said order, specific directions were issued for release of the goods seized from the petitioner, but all goods have not been released as yet. 2.
Ms Beenashaw N. Soni, the learned counsel appearing for the MCD, on instructions, submits that the seized goods have been released to the petitioner and he has also issued a receipt for the same. remained to be released. Ms. Soni states that the information regarding the said goods may be shared with the MCD and the same would be released as well.

In view of the above statement, we do not consider it apposite to pass any further orders in this petition and the same is disposed of. Pending application is also disposed of.

Needless to state, the petitioner has liberty to revive the present petition, if all goods are not released within a reasonable period of time in terms of the orders passed by this Court.
