Vide the present petition, petitioner prays as under: (i) To quash the impugned order dated 25.04.2022 (Annexure-P1) issued by the DIG Estt Dte. CRPF and also the order dated 09.08.2022 (Annexure-P2) issued by the Digcent (pers) CRPF;

(ii) To direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the rank of Assistant Commandant with seniority at par with his batch-mates;

(iii) To direct the respondents to adjudicate the representation given by the petitioner (Annexure-P9) for his promotion to the post of Assistant Commandant in a time bound manner.

Ms.Garima Sachdeva, learned Senior Panel Counsel appears on advance notice and submits that respondents will take decision on the issue raised in the present petition in a time bound manner. 3.

Accordingly, we hereby dispose of the present petition by giving direction to the respondents to treat the present petition as a representation and decide the same within four weeks from today and the decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter. 4.
