The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 353/2019 under Sections 506/509 of the IPC registered at P.S. Dwarka South, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed.

The present petition is predicated on a settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 (at the material time, they were husband and wife). It is stated that respondent no.2 (Ashima Agarwal) has since

obtained a decree of dissolution of her marriage with the petitioner. The concerned parties have since resolved all their differences and disputes. 5.

The petitioner is present in Court and is identified by his counsel. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer.

Both the parties (petitioner and respondent no.2) state that they have no grievance against each other. Respondent no.2 further states that she does not wish to pursue the FIR in question. In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. 7.

Accordingly, FIR No. 353/2019 under Sections 506/509 of the IPC registered at Police Station Dwarka South, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.
