By way of the present application, the applicant seeks grant of interim bail for a period of one week for the purpose of solemnization of his marriage, in case arising out of FIR bearing No.215/2021, registered at Police Station Hari Nagar, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 140(3)/308(4)309(6)/311/351(2)/3 (5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereafter 'BNS').

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant states that the learned Trial Court had dismissed the application of the application vide order dated 03.01.2026 and had only granted custody parole for a period of six hours. He however states that he is unable to arrange for the amounts, which he had been asked to deposit by the concerned Jail Superintendent. Therefore, it is prayed that interim bail for a period of one week be granted to him.

The learned APP appearing on behalf of the State has filed the verification report regarding the marriage ceremony of the applicant. As per the said verification report, the marriage of the applicant herein is scheduled for 10.02.2026.

In light of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, and also the verification report filed by the State, the present application is allowed and the interim bail for a period of five days from the date of his release is granted to him, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount, subject to satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/Successor Court/Link Court/Duty Judge concerned, on the following terms and conditions: i) The applicant shall not leave the country without prior permission of the concerned Court.
ii) In case of change of residential address/contact details and phone number, the applicant shall promptly inform the same to the concerned Trial Court.
iii) The applicant shall not communicate with, or come into contact with the complainant or any of the prosecution witnesses, or tamper with the evidence of the case.
iv) The applicant shall immediately surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent, after expiry of the period of interim bail. v) The applicant shall not seek extension of interim bail. 5.
Accordingly, the present application stands disposed of. 6.
