Applicant seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 088/2025 dated 24.03.2025, registered at Police Station Rajinder Nagar for commission of offence under Section 318(4) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding Section 420 of Indian Penal Code). 2.

It is apprised that son of applicant i.e. T. Ranjith, who is stated to be the main accused, has already been granted interim relief by this Court with further direction to participate in mediation. Reference in this regard has been made to order dated 30.01.2026 passed in Bail Application No. 404/2026.

Learned Addl. P.P. appears on advance notice and accepts notice. 4.

Learned counsel for complainant also appears on advance notice and after hearing arguments for some time, he submits that, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, he would have no objection if the applicant herein is enlarged on anticipatory bail. However, he prays that applicant may be directed to join the investigation and may also be directed to participate in the mediation proceedings.

Keeping in mind the overall facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the gracious concession given by learned counsel for complainant, the application is disposed of with the direction that in case of arrest of applicant, the arresting officer shall release him on bail on his furnishing personal bond and surety bond in a sum of Rs. 25,000/- each. 6.

Needless to say, applicant shall join the investigation as and when so directed and shall also participate in mediation proceedings. 7.

Pending applications stand disposed of in aforesaid terms.
