The present petition under Sections 11/12 read with Section 2(b) of the Contempt of Court Act read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India seeks following prayers:- "(a) Initiate contempt of Courts proceedings against Contemnor/Respondent No. 1/MYAS, and Contemnor/Respondent No.1/MYAS for wilful disobedience and non-compliance with the Order dated 22.11.2024 in W.P.(C) 16241/2024 by this Hon'ble High Court in the Writ Petition titled Gurusharan Singh v. Union of India & Ors. passed by this Hon'ble Court, and thereafter try and punish the Respondents in accordance with law under Section 11 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971; and/or (b) Pass any other orders or directions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case." 3.
Vide order dated 22.11.2024 in W.P.(C) 16241/2024 the following directions were passed:- "2. Dr. Amit George, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that he will be satisfied with the direction that the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Government of India ["MYAS"], should take a decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner to the Minister, MYAS on 22.08.2024 [Annexure P2 to the writ petition]. 3. Mr. Anil Soni, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the Union of India ["UOI"], states that the petitioner's representation will be considered, and a response will be communicated to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from today."

None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of UOI in pursuance of the order dated 29.01.2025 has placed on record the order dated 07.07.2025 passed by Mr. Kunal, Joint Secretary (Sports) Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Department of Sports, Government of India, whereby representation of petitioner in terms of order dated 22.11.2024 in W.P.(C) 16241/2024 has been disposed of with a speaking order. Copy of the said order has been handed up in Court today and the same is taken on record. 6.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law with the aforesaid order.
