This is a writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to forthwith consider and decide the Petitioner's PM-UDAY application bearing Case ID PMUDAY/CASE/23112025021047/1, submitted on 23.11.2025, within a fixed time frame as may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court,

Direct the Respondents to grant ownership rights and execute the conveyance deed in favour of the Petitioner in respect of his residential property (UGF) bearing Plot Nos 217 & 218, situated at Gram Pustani Pochanpur Extension, Delhi-45, Colony Registration No. 1419, Village Pochanpur, South-West Delhi, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is absolute occupant/owner of the Upper Ground floor of the residential property bearing Plot Nos. 217 and 218 situated in Gram Pustani Pochanpur Extension, Delhi45, Colony Registration No. 1419, Village Pochanpur, South-West Delhi, admeasuring approximately 185.620 square meters and comprised in Khasra Nos. 11/15/1, 15/2 and 16/1 ("said property"). The said colony was notified under the Pradhan Mantri Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana ("PM-UDAY").

Subsequently, the petitioner submitted an application on 23.11.2025 seeking conferment of ownership rights and execution of conveyance deed in respect of the said property. However, the petitioner's application is still pending.

Hence, the present petition.

Mr. Godara, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the petitioner's application is pending since 23.11.2025.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Ms. Kakar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents. 8.

Since the petitioner is only seeking decision on his application and for the reasons stated in the petition, the petition is allowed and the respondents shall hear the petitioner and decide petitioner's application under PM-UDAY scheme expeditiously and preferably within 5 months from today. 9.
