O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 420/2019 & IA. 14755/2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 with the following prayers: "That in view of the submissions made hereinabove, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to: i. allow the present Application under Section 29A (4) and (5) and grant an extension of a period of one (1) month for enabling the Ld. Tribunal to pronounce award in the ongoing arbitration case; and ii. pass any other order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Noting the contents of the application and the learned counsel for the respondent has also consented for the extension of time, the time for the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the proceedings and render its award is extended by a period of two months (as prayed for by the learned counsel for the parties today in the court) w.e.f September 25, 2019. The petition stands disposed of.
