This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "a) issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or order or direction to respondents to decide the representation submitted by petitioner with consequential direction to restore recognition of B.Ed course with intake of 100 seats (two basic units); and/or b) issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or order or direction to respondents to update the name of petitioner institute in the list of recognized institutions maintained on the website of respondents and also to inform Affiliating University as well as Department of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. communicating status of petitioner institution as recognized institution for conducting B.Ed course with intake of 100 seats (two basic units); and/or"

Mr. Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, restricts his prayer in the present case to a direction to the respondents to decide the comprehensive representation dated 07.02.2025 expeditiously. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Malhotra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and states that the averments made in the petition are denied. 5.

Since the petitioners are only seeking decision on the representation, it is directed that the respondents shall hear the petitioners and dispose of the representation expeditiously and in any case not later than 8 weeks from today.
