By way of present application filed under Section 438 Cr.PC., the petitioner/applicant seeks anticipatory bail in FIR No. 544/2023 registered under Sections 420/411/34 IPC at P.S. Lahori Gate. 2.

On 01.02.2024, based upon the assurance of the applicant that he would join the investigation, interim protection was granted to him. 3.

Mr. Khanna, learned APP for the State submits that applicant has failed to join the investigation. He further stated that on 01.03.2024, applicant was directed to join the investigation on 04.03.2024 at 4 pm and an assurance in this regard was given by learned counsel for the applicant. A fresh Section 41A notice was also given, however, the applicant has failed to join the investigation.
