O R D E R

% 28.07.2017 The petitioners are being tried for the offences under Sections 498, 406 and 34 of the IPC (FIR No.76/2009 at Shalimar Bagh Police Station) which is pending before the learned Metopolitan Magistrate, (Mahila Court) Rohini.

A request has been made by the petitioners to transfer either the domestic violence case which is pending before Tis Hazari Courts to the Mahila Court Rohini where the case under Section 498A, 406 and 34 of the IPC is being tried or vice versa.

Mr. R.S. Kundu, learned Additional Standing Counsel has informed this court that both the cases are almost on the verge of completion and no useful purpose would be served in transferring the trial of either of the cases to either of the courts.

Taking into account the aforesaid facts, the prayer made in the present

writ petition is declined.

The writ petition is dismissed.
