The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that orders be passed for expeditious completion of the trial. 2.

The status report has been received from the Learned Trial Court. The same indicates that the present matter has been listed twice every month and for the last few months, consecutive two or three dates are being given in the matter. It is stated that there are fourteen accused in the matter, who are represented through different counsel and it takes a considerable time for recording evidence of a single witness.

In view of the above, no further directions can be passed to the concerned Trial Court for further expediting the trial in this matter. However, the learned Trial Court is requested to complete the trial in an expeditious manner. No adjournment would be granted to the counsel

appearing for the accused and in the event, counsel for any of the accused is not available, the right to cross-examine shall stand forfeited. Similarly, no adjournment would be granted on account of non-availability of the prosecutor. The State shall ensure that an alternate arrangement is made in case a particular Public Prosecutor is not available on that date. 4.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
