By way of the present application, the applicant seeks regular bail in FIR No. 288/2020 dated 14.06.2020, registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Vijay Vihar, District Rohini, Delhi.

Pursuant to the order dated 02.02.2026, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, has handed over to the Court a copy of the status report, which is taken on record. 3.
After some arguments, learned counsel for the applicant, seeks permission to withdraw the present bail application, while praying for expeditious disposal of the proceedings before the learned Sessions Court.

(approximately 5 years and 10 months), the learned Sessions Court is requested to consider the request, in accordance with its own Board and the age of the matters pending before it.

In the event of any further inordinate delay in the recording of evidence, the applicant may approach the learned Sessions Court afresh, which shall be considered in accordance with law and on its own merits. 6.
The bail application is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn, with the above observations.

It is clarified that this Court has not made any observation on the merits of the matter, and all rights and contentions of the parties in any future application(s) are left open.
