The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.70/2019, under Sections 498A/406/323/34 of the IPC registered at Police Station Kotla Mubarkpur and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent No.2. Respondent No.2 is present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. She states that she has filed the said FIR in view of matrimonial disputes that had arisen between her, her husband and his family members (petitioners herein).

She states that she has resolved all her disputes and differences with them and is now residing in her matrimonial home. She has no claim against any of the petitioners.

The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel. They state that they have resolved all their disputes with respondent no.2 and have agreed to reside with her. The petitioners and respondent no.2 jointly pray that the FIR in question be quashed. 5.
In view of the statements made by the concerned parties, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. Accordingly, FIR No.70/2019, under Sections 498A/406/323/34 of the IPC registered at Police Station Kotla Mubarkpur and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.

The concerned parties (petitioners and respondent No.2) shall sign this order as an acknowledgement of their statements recorded herein. 7.
The petition is disposed of.
