Learned counsel for the MCD has drawn our attention to a Status Report filed on 11.03.2025, wherein, it has been stated that the requisite action has been initiated/taken. In support of the said submission, certain photographs have also been enclosed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not have any objection if the present writ petition is disposed of in view of the pendency of the appeal before the Tribunal, MCD.

Accordingly, without expressing any views as to the merit of the claim of the respective parties, this petition stands disposed of, keeping in view the pendency of the appeal with all pending applications. 7.

It is needless to say that if either of the parties are aggrieved by the outcome of the appeal, it will be open to the parties concerned to challenge the same by taking recourse to legal remedy which may be available to them. 8.

We also note the statement made by learned counsel representing the Special Task Force that pursuant to our Order dated 22.03.2024, the requisite action has also been initiated at their end.
