By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of the Arbitral Tribunal for another period of six months with effect from 28.01.2025, for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing of the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 28.01.2025. He further submits that the mandate has been previously extended twice, vide orders dated 20.02.2024 and 02.08.2024.

Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition. 5.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the matter is at the stage respondent's evidence.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of 6 months with effect from 28.01.2025. It is further observed that any proceedings conducted after the expiry of the mandate shall also stand validated and regularised. 7.
