A Status Report has been filed by the Respondent No.3/Delhi Police and the relevant portion of the same reads as under:- "8. In the present Petitioner the Petitioner has annexed the documents of his mother which he has obtained in 2023, a year after his last passport application got rejected. However after perusal of the documents produced on pages No 32-35 of the present Petition i.e documents proving his mother's nationality (not previously provided by the Petitioner along with passport application) it can be said that the nationality of the Petitioner is no more doubtful and the Petitioner may apply again for a passport along with the requisite documents proving nationality of his mother and the same would be considered and verified as per law." A perusal of the Status Report reveals that certain documents have been filed along with the writ petition which have been filed after the application for grant of passport has been filed. It is directed that the Respondents will consider these documents before taking a fresh call on the application of the Petitioner for the purpose of issuance of a new passport. 3.

The writ petition is being disposed of in light of the Status Report and the Respondents are directed to consider those documents filed along with the writ petition and take a decision in accordance with law regarding grant of passport to the Petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today. 4.

With these observations, the petition is disposed of along with pending application(s), if any.
