At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner draws attention to a communication dated 30.01.2025 issued by the respondent (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) to the petitioner whereby the petitioner's Multi System Operator (MSO) registration has been renewed from the date of validity (i.e. 29.05.2024) for a period of 10 years (i.e. upto 29.05.2034). 2.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition ; the same is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. Pending application also stands disposed of.
