% 03.12.2019 This is a petition under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of a Sole Arbitrator. My attention has been drawn to an order dated October 23, 2019 passed in a batch of petitions, the lead one being CM APPL.(M) 1532/2019, wherein the Court had directed the parties to approach appropriate forum seeking appointment of a new Sole Arbitrator. During the course of the submissions, learned counsel for the parties states that in the aforesaid proceedings, Mr. Sachin Datta, Sr. Adv. was appointed as an amicus to assist the Court. They say that Mr. Sachin Datta, Sr. Adv. be appointed as a Sole Arbitrator in these proceedings. Noting their submissions, Mr. Sachin Datta, Sr. Adv. is appointed as a Sole Arbitrator, who shall adjudicate the disputes and differences between the parties. His appointment shall be regulated by the Rules of the DIAC.

A copy of this order be sent to Mr. Sachin Datta, Sr. Adv. for information.

Learned counsel for the parties shall appear before Mr. Sachin Datta, Sr. Adv. after seeking prior appointment on his mobile No. 9810032822. Petition stands disposed of.
