The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent/MCD to decide the application for regularisation filed by the petitioner on 23rd September, 2025.

Issue notice.

Notice is accepted by Ms. Meherunnisa Anand Jaitly, counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/MCD, who points out that the application filed on behalf of the petitioner for regularisation is not in the prescribed format.

It is further submitted that the petitioner would be required to file an application for regularisation in the prescribed format along with certificate from a Structural Engineer and an architect along with their credentials and processing fee. She submits that subject to the petitioner filing the W.P.(C) 1463/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. application in the prescribed format and along with the necessary documents, the same shall be considered by respondent/MCD within four
(4) weeks from the date of filing.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned MCD office and file an application in the prescribed format along with necessary documents. 6.
Upon filing of the said application, the same shall be considered and decided by MCD within four (4) weeks.

In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
