% 24.02.2020 This petition has been filed praying for the following relief: "a. Issue a Writ of Mandamus/ Certiorari or any other Writ, Direction or Order, thereby, directing the Respondent No. 2, i.e. Department of Telecommunications to appoint an Arbitrator to adjudicate the dispute arisen between the Petitioner Company and the Respondent No.1, i.e, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd, in respect to the inflated telephone bills raised by the Respondent No.1 to the tune of Rs. 13,46,104/-against four land line connections for the month of May, 2019 and June, 2019."

In view of the prayer made and keeping in mind the mandate of Section 7B of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, the respondent no.2 is directed to nominate the Arbitrator within a period of six weeks from today. The petition is disposed of in the above terms, with no order as to cost.
