% 03.02.2026 By way of the present petition filed under section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 154/2016 dated 01.03.2016 registered under sections 186/353/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at P.S.: Vasant Kunj North, New Delhi.

Chargesheet in the matter was filed on 20.09.2016. Charges are stated to have been framed in 2017.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners informs the court that the proceedings are now at the stage of recording of prosecution evidence.

Although, counsel argues that the FIR is a counter-blast; that the concerned police officer was indulging in moral policing, which was baseless and uncalled-for, this court is not inclined to interfere in the matter at this stage.
