Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that there are as many as 23 shipping bills pending with the respondents against which duty drawback has been claimed by the petitioner, which are yet to be decided by the respondents.

Counsel appearing for the respondents No.1, 3, 4 and 5 submitted that they shall decide the shipping bills of the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest.

In view of this limited submission, we hereby direct the respondents to decide the shipping bills as demanded by the petitioner and as referred to W.P.(C) No.10868/2019 Page 1 of 2

in the memo of this writ petition in accordance with law, rules, regulations and Government policy applicable to the facts of the present case at the earliest, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
