This Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been preferred with the following prayers:

"I) Issue a Writ of Mandamus/Certiorari or any other such directions to set-aside the order dated 01.07.2019 passed by the Respondent No. 5 appointing herself as the acting president of the State Commission, New Delhi as being illegal; II) Quash the order dated 01.07.2019 of self-appointment passed by Respondent No. 5 and further quash the office order dated 11.07.2019 passed by the Respondent No. 2 appointing Respondent No. 5 as the acting president of the State Commission, New Delhi;

III) Appoint the sitting judge of this Hon'ble Court as either full time president or interim acting president till the regular appointment of the president of State Commission, New Delhi; IV) Pass any other/ further order which this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in the interest of justice." 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the parties jointly submit that now the President of the State Consumer Commission, New Delhi has been appointed. A copy of appointment Letter dated 28th January, 2020, tendered by counsel for the respondents before this court, is taken on record. 3.

In view of the aforesaid appointment letter, we see no reason to further entertain this writ petition and the same is, therefore, disposed of. CHIEF JUSTICE C.HARI SHANKAR, J.
