% 06.04.2018 Notice could not be issued to respondent no. 2 as steps were not taken. However, respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and accepts notice.

She has been identified by SI Om Prakash of police station Hauz Khas. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 25th April, 2017.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner. Affidavit of respondent

no. 2 is also on record at pages 38-39.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.1333/2014 under Section 354 IPC registered at police station Hauz Khas and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
