At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the present petition, the petitioner has learnt that his representation has already been decided, albeit, belatedly. He also submits that the petitioner would take recourse to appropriate remedy as available under law for challenging said decision.

Learned counsel for respondent appears on advance notice and submits that the representation has been decided vide order dated 09.01.2024. 3.

In view of the above, nothing further survives in the present contempt petition.
