Petitioners seek initiation of contempt proceedings against respondent for not deciding their representation. 2.

According to learned counsel for the petitioners, a joint representation through him was sent to the respondent on their official e-mail ID i.e. edpdte@bsf.nic.in on 14.19.2024 and so far, the petitioners have not heard anything about the outcome of their such representation.

During course of hearing, Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above said representation is on behalf of all the petitioners, barring petitioner No.23, who has already been granted relief.

representation and the above representation sent through e-mail seems to have escaped their notice. It is, however, undertaken that within a period of eight weeks from today, the above said representation, which has now come to their knowledge after filing of the present contempt petition, would be decided and the petitioners and their counsel would also be intimated about the outcome thereof within the above said period of eight weeks.

In view of the above said assurance given by learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for petitioners does not press the present contempt petition.

Petition is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed. 7.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to revive the present contempt petition in case needful is not done by the respondents, within the time-frame as undertaken above.
