The Petitioner claims to be the owner of the land bearing Khasra No. 271 min measuring 3 bigha 16 biswas of the Revenue Estate of Village Fatehpur Beri, South Delhi.

It is submitted that the Petitioner had approached the revenue authorities seeking demarcation of the aforesaid land; however, no action has been taken despite the lapse of considerable time. In this regard, reliance is placed on a representation dated 14th July, 2025. 3.
Counsel for the Respondent does not dispute the status of the land and submits that the delay has occurred on account of the transfer of jurisdiction from the office of the SDM, Mehrauli to the SDM, Chhatarpur. In view of the aforesaid statement, the present petition along with the pending application is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent to carry out the demarcation within the timeline indicated above. 5.
The demarcation report shall be furnished to the Petitioner within two weeks from the date of completion of the demarcation. It is clarified that the cost of demarcation shall be borne by the Applicant.
