This Petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal which is adjudicating the disputes which have arisen under a Contract which was awarded to the Petitioner for execution of the work of "53.5 MGD Sewage Pumping Station, rising main and other related associated/allied appurtenant works on Design, Build and Operate basis at Preet Vihar, New Delhi on turnkey basis".

contract. While adjudicating the petition filed under Section 9, this Court has constituted the Arbitral Tribunal to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. Pleadings stood completed on 03.05.2021. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has been extended periodically by this Court. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is going to expire on 31.01.2025. 3.

It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Parties that arguments are over and the Arbitral Tribunal has to pronounce the Award. 4.

In view of the facts of the present case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal from 31.01.2025 till 30.04.2025, so that the award can be pronounced.

The Petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
