% 23.01.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioners have challenged the order dated 21st December, 2017 passed by the respondent no.1 whereby the admission of the petitioners in the respondent no.1/School, has been cancelled on the ground that the income certificates furnished by their parents were found to be fake. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they have supplied fresh income certificates to the respondent no.1/School. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos.3 & 4 submits that the said respondents have verified fresh certificates, which have been found to be genuine.

She, therefore, prays that in view of the fact that the fresh certificates have been found to be genuine, respondent nos.1 & 2 be

directed to re-admit the petitioners in the School. In support of his prayer, learned counsel for the petitioners places reliance on the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(C) Nos.2219/2016, 11461/2017, 4849/2016 and 11462/2017. In view of the fact that the fresh certificates have already been verified, the writ petition is allowed and the order dated 21st December, 2017, cancelling the admission of the petitioners, is, hereby, quashed with a direction to the respondent nos.1 & 2 to readmit the petitioners in the School.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners points out that due to cancellation of the admission of the petitioners on 22nd December, 2017, the petitioners were unable to appear in the semester examination and, therefore apprehends that due to non-appearance in the semester exam, their promotion to the next class may be effected. She submits that the petitioners through their guardians, shall make appropriate applications to the School within one week. It is hoped and expected that the respondent no.1/School shall consider such applications sympathetically and take steps to conduct re-exams for the semester, if required.
