O R D E R

% 10.01.2018 Petitioner is seeking parole for the reason mentioned in the petition. Reason is that the mother of the petitioner had expired on 27.12.2017; the petitioner accordingly seeks parole to complete the last rites of his deceased mother.

Learned counsel for the State states that the last parole application of the petitioner was rejected by this Court on 14.12.2017. This Court notes this fact. This Court also notes the subsequent event which is the death of the mother of the petitioner which had occurred subsequently. The fact that his mother had died on 27.12.2017 is confirmed by the Investigating Officer who is present in Court. This is a fit case where the petitioner should be granted parole. Accordingly, petitioner be released on parole for a period of three

weeks to be counted from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned with condition that he will not contact the victim in any manner and will not try to approach her. He will also give his latest residential address and mobile number to the Investigating Officer. He will report to the local SHO on every Monday of each week. He will surrender himself to the Jail Authorities immediately after the expiry of the aforenoted parole period of three weeks.

Petition disposed of.

A copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendant for intimation to the petitioner.
