This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:

"a. Allow the Present Petition; and b. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit thereby directing the respondents to issue the eligibility certificate to the petitioner and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

to further allow her to appear in Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in April - May 2026;..."

The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner completed her MBBS course from Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital (P) Ltd, Biratnagar, Kathmandu, Nepal and she wants to appear for the upcoming Foreign Medical Graduate Examination ("FMGE") in April - May 2026. However, while applying for the FMGE 2025, she was unable to submit the application as the application portal was not accepting the date of birth of the petitioner, because it was one day short of the prescribed age criteria. 3.

Mr. Sherawat, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that in a similar matter in W.P.(C) 14423/2023 titled Navneet Suman v. Union of India & Ors., a Coordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court has directed the petitioner therein to make a detailed representation with all the relevant documents and decisions before the Secretary of the National Medical Commission ("NMC").

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Goyal and Mr. Singhdev, learned counsels accept notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 respectively. 6.

There is nobody appearing on behalf of the respondent No. 3, however in view of the urgency of the matter, the present petition is being taken up for hearing.

In view of a similar matter and based on the order dated 27.11.2024 passed in W.P.(C) 14423/2023, it is directed that the petitioner shall make a detailed representation within 7 days along with all the relevant documents and decisions before the Secretary, NMC.

The detailed representation shall be decided appropriately and within The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

6 weeks from the date of its receipt.

The petitioner, if aggrieved, will be at liberty to challenge the decision in accordance with law.
