At the very outset, learned counsel for the respondents, raises a preliminary objection that the grievance raised herein, against Bharat Scouts and Guides, is not amenable to the writ jurisdiction of the Court. 2.

Learned counsel submits that the respondent is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, which does not discharge any public function and is not under the management and control of the State. 3.

However, without prejudice to this contention, in view of the fact that the petitioner only seeks consideration of his representation for grant of an increment, which he claims was due on 01.07.2014, learned counsel states that the respondents will take a decision and communicate the same W.P.(C) 1186/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The writ petition is disposed of on the basis of the aforesaid submission.
