By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks an extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of six months for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 5.

It has been submitted that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 23.06.2021. Learned counsel for the parties submits that the parties had mutually extended the time in terms of Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act till 27.02.2024. Issue notice.

Learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition. 8.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the arbitral proceedings have already been concluded and learned Arbitral Tribunal is only to make an award.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of six months i.e., till 26.08.2024.

10. The present petition is disposed of along with miscellaneous applications.
