This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 of BNSS seeking protection for the safety and life of the petitioner.

In the present case, the petitioner is contesting the Legislative Assembly Elections, 2025 of Delhi from his political party titled as 'Rashtriya Bahujan Congress Party'.

campaigning for the elections as he is being threatened to stop his political campaigning.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Aniket, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned ASC appearing for the respondent and states that it is the bounden duty of the respondent to take adequate steps for care and safety of every single citizen and the petitioner is no exception. 6.

He states that the mobile number of the concerned SHO as well as the Beat officer shall be shared with the petitioner as well as Mr. Budhiraja, learned counsel for the petitioner and as and when a call is received from the petitioner and / or his counsel, the same shall duly be attended and the complaint will duly be addressed by the concerned SHO/Beat officer. 7.

With these directions, the petition is disposed of. 8.
