By way of the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioner seeks quashing of notice dated 24.10.2024, whereby the Additional DCP, South-West District, New Delhi, has granted to the petitioner an opportunity for explaining certain allegations and showing cause as to why the petitioner should not be externed from the limits of National Capital Territory of Delhi under the provisions of the Delhi Police Act, 1978.

The notice is in the nature of a 'show-cause' communication. After making some submissions, Mr. D. K. The undertaking given by the petitioner is taken on record. Counsel submits that the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the court, if the need to subsequently arises. In view of the above, the petition stands disposed-of as withdrawn, with liberty to approach the court, if the need so arises, as may be permissible, in accordance with law.
