The petitioner is essentially aggrieved that that he was illegally detained by the Police Authorities on 07.11.2024. According to the petitioner, the same is a cognizable offence. 2.

Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the CCTV footage of the Police Station where the petitioner was allegedly detained, has already been preserved.

The petitioner seeks registration of a case in regard to commission of the cognizable offence.

The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate steps. 5.

The State is directed to preserve the CCTV footage for a period of six weeks, that may be subject to any further order(s) that may be passed by the appropriate forums. 6.

The rest of the prayers sought are vague and cannot be granted while exercising the jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

The present petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
