In view of the Status Report filed by the respondent-MCD, the grievance of the petitioner, as of now, stands mitigated. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that the respondents be directed to keep a vigil on the property in question so that the same may not be re-encroached.

The respondents are duty bound to take necessary steps to ensure that the Government land remains free form encroachment. 4.

In any case, if the petitioner has any grievance in future, the liberty is reserved in his favour to take necessary steps, in accordance with law.
