The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the missing person, namely, Mr. Aakash Kumar, the son of the petitioner, aged about 22 years, who is stated to be missing since 08.08.2023. 2.

We have perused the Status Report dated 15.04.2026 filed by the respondents. Efforts are being made to trace the whereabouts of the missing boy. Let the same be continued.

We dispose of this petition by directing the respondents to file the quarterly report before the concerned Magistrate regarding the further efforts made to trace the missing boy.
